OF SOILING OUR AIR, WATER, & SOIL!
Along with the record temperatures of ocean waters around Florida, try to think of the consequences around the world this will have on the Gulf Stream that is fed by these ocean waters. Why are the oceans warming? What’s happening to the deep ocean current that circles the Antarctic? What effects will it have on future climate change? How much will it speed up global warming?
Don’t the oceans create more hurricanes and tropical storms due to the warmer water temperatures? Wouldn’t that create more winds to dry out Maui?
It appears to me that this was a perfect storm, for the destruction of the island.
This coral is being bleached to death due to the ocean warming. Without the coral reefs protecting the shores of Florida, they can only expect more erosion, beachside.
Was this firestorm man-made? I’d say so. This is from all the pollution we’re pumping into the atmosphere with fossil fuels. Hasn’t the Oil Industry had record profits lately? How much pollution is wrapped up in each of those dollars?
With both Lake Mead and Lake Powell at record-low levels, it’s only a matter of time before their back to the river basin. This is just an indication of the extended drought the West has gone through.
Lake Mead’s levels are too low, now to produce any electrical power. It’s a good thing we can supplement the grid with Solar and Wind power, now, as it’s needed more than ever.
How long will the river continue to flow? At this rate, Lake Mead will never fill back up again let alone Lake Powell. They’re both goners until the oceans start dumping their water back into the atmosphere to increase the rain and snow.
It seems that the drought has hit Maui, with a vengeance, taking out the entire town of Lahaina. Who would have thought this could have happened in the middle of an ocean?
Could the oil boom led by Republican administrations of the past century, have led to the destruction of Lahaina? Hasn’t the oil industry had record profits in recent years? Do you think climate change is real? How much did their profits attributed to this disaster?
With oil industry profits at record highs, I wonder, not, where the problem stems from. I wonder, rather, how are we going to stem the desire for these excessive profits, to pay their stockholders?
What must be done to slow down the hunger it takes to realize these kinds of record profits? But then, you may be asking, what does this have to do with hunger, not knowing that all greed stems from hunger?
As the death toll rises from the loss of Lahaina, (as of 8/19/23, the death toll is up to 114), Republicans are all complaining about the high price of gas, and how it was lower when they were in charge.
Ask them, though, if they take responsibility for the disaster that just happened, and they’ll deny it, knowing full well that Lahaina is a consequence of climate change and US pumping more contaminants into the atmosphere.
With wildfires in Canada at an all-time high, it’s polluting the air over US, sometimes with devastating consequences.

Look at what we did to Lake Erie in pursuit of a warmer climate. It’s an algae slime pool, right now, that smothering half of the beaches on Lake Erie.
This Lake Erie beach doesn’t look like any of the beaches I swam from when I visited Lake Erie when I was a kid. But this is how it’s represented today. And, it’s not very appealing.
It’s actually very unappealing. More like a war zone made up of death and destruction. Is this the instruction we leave for our children?
Where will they go swimming? In a cement bath pond, or ocean that’s full of algae because is as warm as a Jacuzzi?
Warmer water temperatures are going to mean that sharks will be more active and attacks will increase, as more and more people will be drawn to the shoreline. These are the devastating consequences of global warming and climate change. Is this the kind of muck you like to swim in?
What happened in Lahaina was not only catastrophic, it needs to be a lesson about what we’re doing to the climate to increase the profits of the oil and gas industry.
The question I ponder is will the oil industry help to rebuild Lanaina with their record profits since they’re responsible for their disaster? It would only be fitting.
It’s these profits that drive ocean warming and climate change. I can’t wait ’til I can charge my car with sunlight. But, it’ll be too late by then.

I know he has little to do with the recent events, (meaning he couldn’t have caused the disaster of the loss of Lahaina, HI), but he does tout the end of the constitution, which is about as seditious as anyone can get. He’s part of a party that wants to deny climate change, as well as outlaw abortion and take away rights to vote.
All while trying to sully up to a deranged sycophant. Doesn’t he like to buy his groceries at McDonald’s? You know how he loves his Big Macs, don’t you? McDonald’s is the home of glyphosated food.
You can’t find more glyphosated food anywhere than McDonald’s, especially in their buns. To sell their French Fries so cheap, they have to be glyphosated.To sell their burgers so fast they have to produce them as quickly as possible. They can only do that when they use glyphosate to control pests in the form of weeds.
That means that anyone eating these crops is eating glyphosate, and plenty of it. If you are what you eat, he has to be more glyphosated, more than damn near anything else. The way his mind works, he’s drunk with the stuff. (Not a good way to be punch drunk!)
I’ve never thought of anyone being glyphosate drunk, but that would explain perfectly, why he acts like he does. Thank God he’s no longer considered progressive. Ever since he decided to change parties 40 years ago from Democrat to Republican. This is how he destroys the Republican party now, which he seems fully intent on doing.
I think he saw it as an avenue to the ends of his own personal means and nothing else. He doesn’t care about anything else.
This proves he is a turncoat. He’ll betray your confidence in him…as he’s been doing since he won the Presidency, illegally, 7 years ago. If you want to trust him, be prepared to be thrown into the garbage heap. It’s what he does with everything he uses after he’s done with it.

I attribute a good portion of our climate change to the extensive use of glyphosate and its inherent dangers. No other herbicide affects bee populations more than glyphosate. It’s bee populations that keep agriculture going. DUH! Why would you want to kill something that generates oxygen?
This is why they’re cutting down the rainforests…to plant GMO soy. Just to spray it with glyphosate. That only makes ยขents to the pharmaceutical companies and corporations.
