I know, as I grew up in a Christian family. My mother taught Sunday School before I was born. I’ve read the Bible, from cover to cover. I know what each and every book says. From the thousands of authors of Genesis, to the writings of Paul that cover most of the New Testament, I’ve read it. 

I even read Jude, the shortest book in the Bible that everyone ignores, but details the coming of the antichrist. Who could that possibly be?

I’d wager that none of them have read more than one verse at a time, when they pick up the Bible to read. Their individual actions prove it loudly and clearly.

But, that’s typical C&E Christians who only go to church on Christmas and Easter but claim that they do all year long. Could this lack of faith be where our problems start?

My first suggestion would be to look at the next to last book in the New Testament, Jude. It explains how the antichrist takes over the world near the end days.

Why don’t  any of the supposed Christians know anything about that? That is the proof that none of them read their Bible. Just as you haven’t.

And that goes for every one of their voters. Do they all think Putin is their best friend?  How much are they willing to give this criminal? As much as it takes to destroy our democracy?

The question I keep asking myself is, what do they get out of this sedition? The fact that Russia is keeping an eye on them? Is that what they really want? Is that why they honor and treasure someone who collects indictments like trophies?  

It’s as though he puts them up on his wall of glory to brag about. The crooked real estate developer turned politician has had criminality follow him around all of his life. He steeps himself in it.

From his fraudulent tax returns to his insurrection order to the “Proud Boys” and “Oathkeepers” to overthrow our government, this criminal has always been on the wrong side of the law.

Finally, he gets to pay for it…and, it’s far past due. I can’t say that I haven’t been waiting for it, for a long time. Maybe now, I can feel some sort of vindication for the losses that this man has taken from me to prove to me that he is a common thief…nothing more.

You can claim the danger in sending you to jail is the passion of your inept followers taking out your wrath on the government for abiding by the law in your prosecution, when in all actuality, the real danger is in its meaning for more years in jail for you.

Ted Cruz and his sedition caucus are pissing on the furniture, trying to muddle up the facts of Trump’s insurrection. They are as guilty as Trump of this insurrection. Mitch McConnell and his lackluster cadre of criminals are the real criminals in the hearing of impeachment. None of them deserve to be preceding. No one, defending the ex-president is free enough from their own guilt. These Senators need to hear from their own constituents of their treason. I’m sure those who voted for any of them are as disgusted as I am.

Any threat from the Republican party to call multiple witnesses to bog things down is only evidence of the obstructionism of this Senate as a whole. Seeing as Mitch McConnell is the obstructionist Senate leader, this is not surprising. It’s only Lindsey taking Mitch’s place to be the lead obstructionist. It seems that Lindsey is ready to retire. I have no idea how he can survive this obstructionist label?
