WHEN I START WITH THE SENATE I HAVE TO START WITH MY NEW SENATOR,
SEN. KYRSTEN SINEMA – MY NEW DEMOCRATIC SENATOR FROM ARIZONA, PROVING THAT ARIZONA CAN THINK HOPEFULLY AND EVEN PROGRESSIVELY. I FEEL AN AND TO THE FEAR DRIVEN POLITICS THAT’S DRIVEN ARIZONAN POLITICS FOR 30 YEARS.
SEN SHARROD BROWN – HE MAKES ME WANT TO MOVE BACK TO OHIO, WHERE MY FAMILY OF REPUBLICANS, COME FROM.
BETO O’ROUKE – HIS ELECTION WAS STOLEN FROM HIM AS WAS
STACY ABRAMS – IF ALL VOTES WOULD HAVE BEEN COUNTED, SHE’D BE GOVERNOR.
SEN NELSON – IF ALL THE VOTES WERE COUNTED, HE’D STILL BE SENATOR, BUT THERE WAS CROOKED VOTER DISCRIMINATION IN FLORIDA AGAIN, AS THERE WAS IN GEORGIA WITH STACY
ANDREW GILLUM – AGAIN, IF ALL VOTES WOULD HAVE BEEN COUNTED, HE’D BE GOVERNOR OF FLORIDA
Although none of these last for candidates won their elections, they made such an impact on this election, that their roles must continue for the health of the Democratic party. I salute each and every one of them for the bravery to take on a political institution that’s done little for our nation but to lead into a cauldron of disreputable political bullshit. Their failure has been monumental in its disastrous effects on society. Just short of the devastation of glyphosate on our nation, this Trumpublican takeover of our government has had more disastrous effects than even that. It the incessant fear, that’s driving this madness.
That fear is impacted by what we eat more than anything else, except our President’s mouth of denigration, that tells everybody that there’s a reason to be afraid, and that’s because he is. He’s always been afraid. He’s never been confident enough to not be, due to his irrational behavior of being a bully all the time. That’s exactly how he covers his insecurities. He covers them up with his anger and money…and now, power. That is a scary equation. What will be the ultimate product of this equation of devastation?
I for one, am not anxious to see, so I’ll list just a few of the new house members;
Rep. Veronica Escobar – Focused on reclaiming the identity of her Texas border district
Kendra Horn – The first Democrat in more than 40 years to serve Oklahoma’s 5th Congressional District.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.).
Harley Rouda – defeated Republican Rep. Dana Rohrabacher it looks like the West Coast belongs to the Democratic party, along with much of the East Coast, leaving only the Midwest to catch up with the rest of the country. But that’s the way it’s always been.
Carmelito Reyes – at 77 years old, she’s the second oldest member, ever elected to Congress in history
Chrissy Houlahan – Pennsylvania’s 6th District
Debra Haaland D-NM – one of two Native American women in Congress (and to think, it only took 150 years after we took their land.)
Lauren Underwood – Illinois’ 14th District one of the many black females running for office. Bravo to each and every one of them,
Thank you, Jeff Flake, for your steadfast confidence in a party that has ushered in a great depression, a great recession, and then a greater recession. all in a span of 150 years since its inception before the Civil War, by Abraham Lincoln. Although, a beacon for things like ending slavery (I think, mostly because of the economic advantage it gave the South), but also for busting up monopolies, thank to TR, right at the turn of the 20th century.
Growing up in a Republican family during the Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson and Nixon years left me with a mixed taste of politics at a young age and ultimately, turned me off to politics until awoken rather rudely by a bully invading my government. This has forced me to take to my keyboard to type out my thoughts of discontent with the manner in which this Grand Ole Party operates in today’s world of modern politics of fear mongering. Their fear-mongering, at the insistence of Donald Trump, is the lowest form abasement our country can possibly do to itself.
Their intentions weren’t always to divide. Before Donald T. they stood for unfettered regulation to allow freedom of expansion, no matter the consequences. The bottom line is the all-important marker. “Must make enough to pay dividends to encourage investment.” It’s the first law of Capitalism. If you can’t pursue that goal, there’s no point in being in business. That’s the law of our jungle.
RELIGION OF DEREGULATION AND ITS CONSEQUENCES
During the 1870’s through the 1920’s deregulation was more rampant than it is today or was 30 years ago, or even 15-20 years ago in the early 2000’s. In 1920 Warren G Harding (R) was elected President. Considered one of the worst Presidents we’ve had, he was replaced by his Vice President, Calvin Coolidge (R), after he died of a heart attack on August 2, 1923. Not much better, of a President, he Coolidge was replaced by another Republican, Herbert Hoover, who one year into his presidency witnessed the worst stock market crash in history, to that point, ushering in the Great Depression that lasted through the thirties. The economy never really came back until WWII.
During the Reagan, Bush years in the White House, the deregulation of the banking industry leading to the S&L collapse and another stock market dive in October 1988, due mostly to faulty mortgages, just like in the twenties. It created a recession soon into Bush’s administration, which led to Clinton being elected. Strange enough, it was faulty mortgages that triggered this last great recession of the 2000’s. It took Barack Obama two years to bring us out of that one. That was about the same amount of time it took Clinton, in 1992. It too Roosevelt much longer in the Thirties. It took him ten years and a war to bring us out of the Great Depression.
When I look at the statistics above and which party was in charge prior to each collapse or crash, it was the Republican party. All 3 administrations in the Twenties were Republican prior to The Stock Market crash in ’29 that led to the Great Depression that lasted my parent’s entire childhood. Then I look at the excesses of the Eighties leading to the collapse of the S& L industry led to another recession that another Democrat brought us out of.
Deregulation got us again in 2008 leading to the Great Recession which we’ve just climbed out of, at least until we’re hit with the lack of funds to run our government thanks to a massive tax cut. Inflation is already starting to set in, erasing any gains from a strong job market. Our massive deficit isn’t helping that any, with the high interest we get to pay on all that debt. Can someone tell me how starting a trade war by establishing tariffs, is going to replace the lost revenue from the taxes? Isn’t that another tax on the producer? How does that make sense? I, for one, am not anxious to see the next stock market crash. Will it be greater than the one in 1929? Will the ensuing depression be greater than the one in the thirties? I can’t help but wonder. Everything that has led up to every previous depression or recession, came after deregulation and excessive expenditures from the Republican party.
Sorry, Jeff, That is not a good record to run on. If there is anybody that can explain how this tactic of unsuppressed excessiveness coupled with lack of regulation has benefited our country, please educate me? I want to know how pilfering the people to benefit corporate and elite America has done nothing but keep America from really being great. And, with a world that looks to us for leadership, our decision to become nationalists, is making them all look elsewhere for guidance, making us shun our responsibility as the nation the world looked up to. No one does anymore due to the division that Putin created with his interference in our election.
Your party has brainwashed too many of our population to believe that fear has our country’s best interest. You deny completely what Roosevelt had to say in his inaugural address, “FEAR IS THE ONLY THING WE HAVE TO FEAR.” Case in point; look at this poor soul from Georgia who honestly believes your falsehoods and irrational policies of and idiocy, that your party is espousing, like cutting back on EPA regulations after being hit by some of the worst hurricanes in our history.
Georgia from Georgia, I can’t possibly understand the gibberish that runs through your demented, brainwashed mind. Brainwashed you are, by a glamour bum by the name of Donald Trump. Nice try on blaming the “Dems” again. You listen to too much propaganda from a false prophet. Where do you go to Church? Don’t you know anything about false prophets and the antichrist?
Your assessment about half of what you stated were falsehoods. Just because the President does it does not mean that you can. Lying And to say that blacks are just too stupid to follow instructions as the most condescending thing you could have subconsciously uttered and you spew it because the President does. You think that his racism gives you the right to be a racist. You Georgia, of Georgia, are a known liar, now. You’ve lied to the nation and you did it boldly, just like your racist President. I wouldn’t talk to you in any voting line. You’re too full of falsehoods and fake news. We know who you listen to. Is it Smart News? From Fox Fake News. I pity you for the rude awakening you’re setting yourself up for.
Trump is a known criminal soon to be proven criminal, guilty of more than 30 verified crimes, all visible on Do I smell a Rat or a Mole. This list is a continuously growing list, update on a semi-regular basis. I’d like it to be regular with all the crimes being committed, but time limits my ability to give it attention. At his .current rate, his list will be over 50 provable act of criminal nature, before he’s done. If you could count every time he lied as a crime for intentionally misinforming the public on the factual truth, his crimes would number over 8,000, and at his current, closing in on 10,000 really quickly.
What happened to the Republican party that used to be respected by both sides? The Republican list of accomplishments is impressive. Lincoln, who started the party put an end to slavery, Lincoln was replaced, one month into his second term of presidency, after being assassinated, by his Democratic Vice President Andrew Johnson from Tennessee. He was chosen to run on the National Union ticket because Lincoln was trying to reach voters in the south. Although the voters accepted him, John Wilkes Booth didn’t and for the subsequent 4 years, a split congress worked with a Democrat, until Grant won the election in 1868 to reinitiate a Republican dominance of our Presidency for the ensuing 28 years. They came close to impeaching Johnson but narrowly missed by 1 vote.
Although Garfield (R) championed civil right for freedmen, his tenure in office was cut short by assassination after 200- days. But his policies were followed up by Chester Arthur who was replaced by Grover Cleveland (D) the only president to serve two terms, not consecutively, but spit by Benjamin Harrison (R). That tells me that Harrison was not a good President.
However, William McKinley (D) took the helm for 6 months before he was assassinated and left Theodore Roosevelt, President. He, not unlike McKinley, worked to reform the corrupt tendencies that were overtaking our civilization, such as monopolization of industry and commerce that TR put an end to. Although reelected for his first full term, he didn’t make it, his second full term and lost running on the Bull Moose Party, because his Republican party deserted him to nominate another in his place, while he was President, due to his breakup of corporate alliances that were harming America.
What TR expressed in his policies, was, in my opinion, what the Republican party should stand for, now. Not, for all the deregulation throughout history that’s led to all depressions and recessions our country has seen, since the Civil War. Now, our whole society has been governed by a conservative force that’s attempted to gain influence through excessive lobbying, to ensure that influence. It’s goal is to maintain their control, through every branch of our government ensuring a continuation of those policies of self-serving regulations, not caring what, that lack of government regulation, does to the citizens of our nation, in their abuse of that power. I define that as a corporate assault on democracy, due to their refusal to accept responsibility for their destruction, to our society. Jeff, If this is how you gauge the success of a political party, I think you need to reset you parameters of what you access is successful.
THUS, THE PRICE WE PAY FOR, “PERSONALITY” PRESIDENTS”
WHO’RE BUSINESSMEN WHO KNOW NOTHING ABOUT GOVERNING ITS RESIDENTS.
IF YOU’RE A TRUE REPUBLICAN YOU CAN DO THIS FOR THE REST OF THE WORLD;
RETURN YOUR PARTY TO THE PARTY THAT FREED THE SLAVES
AND BROKE UP THE MONOPOLIZATION OF AMERICA
TO PREVENT AMERICA FROM COMING UNDER CORPORATE CONTROL,
MONEY THAN PRIVATE AMERICA.
THAT IS OUR DOOM, THAT THE TRUMPUBLICAN’S ARE ENDEAVORING TO DELIVER UPON US.
EXCEPT IN THIS GOVERNMENT,
THE CORPORATE INTEREST IS ONE PERSON
BY THE NAME OF TRUMP.
AND THEIR DOING BEST, THEY ARE DOING.
IN NORTH DAKOTAH IN SUPPRESSING THE NATIVE AMERICAN VOTE.
IN THE SOUTH TRYING TO SUPPRESS THE BLACK VOTE
BY A WHITE NATIONALIST RUNNING THE ELECTION AS THEIR SECRETARY OF STATE.
Our Presidency started with a man who didn’t nor would belong to a political party, although the orchestrator of his administration was a Federalist, the foundation of our current Republican party. Our second President had the first party affiliation of any President, he was a Federalist. That party only lasted one term. Washington, for all intents and purposes, was a Federalist, if not by choice by necessity. He had a country to build, not a state. He was responsible for 13 colonies that were growing in number. His intentions had to be, on a centralized power, to establish a stable government.
This was the ingenious design of our government, that prohibited this centralized power from growing too strong. They recognized the need for limited power, a need to control what power was granted to any one person or entity like a house of Congress. This is the ingenious ingenuity of our democracy. Our Congress is designed to keep one side or the other from gaining too much of this power. This is why our house has only 2-year terms, and why Senate terms are not run in unison with each state. They were aware of our propensity to concentrate power, on one side or the other.
Our next President, Thomas Jefferson, who was wary of the centralization of power, the Federalists espoused, created the Democratic-Republican party, along with James Madison. This was basically the start of progressive politics in our nation, a unified attempt at unifying our nation against a centralized monopolistic power, often referred to as a monarchy styled power. It was this party that got us through the War of 1812. It was this party that unified our individual colonies into united states to become the one nation Washington had in mind, with an engine built to take over this continent, starting with the Monroe Doctrine and Jackson’s war on Indians to achieve that ambition, whether just or not. (This is my biggest beef with Jackson, he left us with a native American population that should have more rights to this land than any foreign tribe. Including all Europeans.) In my opinion, this left-over attitude from the Monroe Doctrine of Manifest Destiny led to the slaughter of far too many innocent lives and made too many criminals on each.
The Democratic-Republican party held power for seven 4 yr. terms or 28 years terms after which, the party basically split apart during John Quincy Adams administration. Probably due to Adams Federalists tendencies from his father. a group of Jacksonian Democrats would initially start what is known today as the Democratic party which separated from the Democratic-Republican party. It basically grew out of Madison’s, constitutionalist views of democracy, where individuals held more rights than a central power. This would ultimately make Jackson the Father of the Democratic Party, even though he followed Monroe’s Doctrine to declare a virtual war on 70 Native American tribes, forcing them onto reservations so his European neighbors could take their land. (I guess he didn’t feel that they deserved any rights.)
This made the Democratic party’s first two administrations Jackson’s and Van Buren’s administrations and it lasted for 3 terms. Following this first attempt at democratization, William Harrison became the first of four Whig party Presidents who occupied the office, under the old Republican party’s tenets of the Federalist’s, for a total of 8 years, or two terms, as two Whig Presidents died while in office. Both Harrison and Taylor (who was actually a reluctant candidate) died in office. Harrison died 14 months into his term while Taylor died 31 days into his term. This early attempt at extreme conservatism didn’t seem to work out too well for its proponents.
The Republican party would, however, come back in the 1850s with the new Republican Party and a centralist President that kept our country together during the Civil War. Most consider this man to be our second best President, after Washington, however 1 month into his second term, he was assassinated and his Democratic Vice President took power for the remainder of that term. The Lincoln/Johnson ticket was the last attempt at reuniting the parties in what was called a National Union party. His term in office did not bode well for him or the Democratic party. Much of his state’s rights associates in the south still believed in their right to conduct slavery, which the centralist north opposed vehemently. It was this opposition to the South’s self-though right to slavery, that ultimately saved our union as one nation. Now, we have a self-proclaimed Republican doing everything in his power to completely centralize his power to a monarchy style of government.
After a 1 term stint by a Democratic President, Johnson, our country turned back again to the Republican party. In trying to keep the Union together, as a southern Democrat, he had more opposition from the Republicans who all supported equal rights for the newly freed slaves, assuming that recognition of their rights would earn their votes. I sometimes wonder what’s happened to that kind of thinking in the Trumpublican party. Trump’s Republican party is built on fear of racial minorities, making me wonder how that can possibly jive with Lincoln’s Republican party. But then, he’s not the first Republican to make me wonder about a party that can claim the end to slavery in our democracy as being part of their platform in the past.
It seems that a few of our early Democratic Presidents had a few conflicts in their beliefs, as they followed conservative policies, like the Monroe Doctrine of Manifest Destiny, taking native American’s lands, in exchange for reservations to wouldn’t allow any movement of their tribes. It seems, 180 years ago, our party had some problems with human rights and recognizing who’s human. The problem of who’s human, and who isn’t, still exists today. It’s just clouded over today by bigotry and hatred that’s driven by an incessant fear that has the power to destroy, all humanity has worked for.
This fear is still driven by conservative voices, still yet afraid of progress, which bit by bit is eating away at the fabric of our society, by slowly converting all progressive voices by silencing a large majority of them through redistricting is making the progressive movement much harder to follow. This is a practice that’s been going on since we’ve been a nation. The lure of power is too great for corporate America to lose. They must maintain as much control as they can to keep their influence on, what they perceive to be the profitable side, which is usually equal to the conservative side. Now, it’s a practice being exploited by our most dangerous adversaries, Russia and China.
After Johnson’s not quite 4 years at the helm our Republican-controlled Congress took back control of the Presidency with the election of Grant for 8 years. Republicans would retain control of the White House for 26 years until 1885 when Grover Cleveland was elected in. Grover Cleveland was the only two-term President who didn’t serve consecutive terms. His were interrupted by Benjamin Harrison who only served one term.
Republicans regained control of the White House with McKinley and TR, Teddy Roosevelt, who was probably the most progressive Republican to ever hold the Office. He influenced our longest standing President, his nephew, Theodore Roosevelt who ran on the Democratic ticket. The 20th century was ushered in by the Republican party to be interrupted by the Democratic party when TR ran against his own Republican party in a spin-off Bull-Moose party. This is ultimately what allowed Woodrow Wilson to win the election that took us through WW I. Republicans retained control throughout the roaring twenties whose stock market crash in 1928 led to the Great Depression of the 30’s only to be brought back by another world war 12 years later.
The interim 20 years of prosperity was ushered in and kept in by a Democratic administration until 1952 when Ike came back from WWII to take over the Presidency. Up to this time more progressives have served during wartime than their Republican counterparts, who seem to have taken over that onus, late in the 20th and into the 21st century. They continued their practice of conducting war during the ’60s and the Vietnam War. It was during Lyndon Johnson’s administration when the old “solid south Democratic party” all converted to the Republican party because of Johnson enactment of the Civil Rights Amendment. Another hallmark of Johnson’s tenure is the Medicare that we have today. It wouldn’t exist if Johnson would not have signed that Act that gave us Medicare. They linked it to the Social Security Administration. According to Wikipedia; “President Lyndon Johnson, Congress enacted Medicare under Title XVIII of the Social Security Act to provide health insurance to people age 65 and older, regardless of income or medical history.” We now have a President who wants to take away our health care, ever our Medicare, because it was Democratic born and an “entitlement program” for everyone who needed it regardless of, any financial situation of health situation any citizen was in. This was intended to be protection for everybody, regardless of their ability to pay. Why this protection can’t be expanded to cover everyone, is beyond my comprehension.
It took the first criminal President to get us out of that war. He resigned to avoid impeachment after his Vice President, elected into office, with him was indicted and removed from office. This led to the only President we’ve had that was never elected. His name was Gerald Ford, who was Spiro Agnew’s replacement. His 1972 election was the first Presidential election where 18 year-olds were eligible to vote. That was when I voted for Nixon. I was a Republican then because my family was.
The stain this left on the Republican party led to Jimmy Carter’s four years as the last Democratic President from the deep south. He came from Georgia Peanut country, as a farmer. He may have been the first casualty of today’s anti-liberal media or the conservative media which has continuously grown more conservative, over time. His administration came right at the beginning of the Fox News era of politics which has morphed into a media controlled government, due to their influence in the workings of a 4th grade President of the U.S. Due to the memory of an op gone bad and the emergence of another Hollywood personality, by the name of Reagan, the Republican party came back with the help of newly born conservative media of Fox News, It came out to take the country by storm to give Republicans an edge in the White House for another 12 years.
That was until a midwestern/southern Democrat was elected in, by the name of Bill Clinton in 1992. Scandal removed this President from Office to allow the re-emergence of Republican power with the Bush/Cheney Ticket, which in my opinion violated the emoluments clause on behalf of what money the Vice President’s companies made off the war in Iraq. This was a trumped up war used just to increase the profits of Cheney’s companies that ran the war for the government. Again, the Republican party was engaging in questionable behavior, just as it did with Reagan and Nixon. This cemented my independent attitude, driving me even closer to progressive politics that didn’t involve fear in any way.
The next eight years brought us our first black President. Possibly the most educated President, his administration ran into a block wall after his first term that vowed to “not let him accomplish anything”. Have you heard anything like that from this Congress? You may have heard it from the President, but not Congress. This Congress has bowed to this President, yet they’ve got nothing constructive to hang their hats on.
Since the founding of our nation as a Federalist democracy, we’ve strived to break away from the centralist conservative political attitude, to a more constitutionalist people’s right’s democracy but we still seem to keep drifting back to this conservative side of our nature.
I feel a giant swing back to the other side of the spectrum that may end the conservative fear that’s kept us from advancing as far as we possibly can. It may suppress this fear forever by eliminating the conservative side or our politics, as we know them now. Unfortunately, for us, this fear is inbred and “stuck in stone”, to never be removed by logic or reason. This fear is the type of fear that can only be conquered by a greater fear. That greater fear just happens to be Health Care and the ACA and a little clause called “pre-existing conditions”. This is the Achilles heel of the Republican party’s platform. They have nothing to stand on when it comes to health care for everyone. This is especially the case with all the cuts in aid, that have been initiated to make it more expensive. This is really the product of a smart, educated legislature that enacted that ACA. But, because of its enactment, many House members lost their seats after just one term. Barack Obama never recovered from the midterm elections that ensued.
Even though he won his next election, he still had to work with a Republican Congress inhibiting his policies and abilities to enact worthwhile legislation that could keep us advancing. Now, we have a Republican Congress unwilling to get anything done, worthwhile, that benefits everyone, yet, bows to the man who can do little more than create havoc. I’m beyond being amused by this President who thinks he’s got it worse than the last one and still thinks of himself as being a better President than even George Washington. C’mon man! He has to reward himself because no one else will. They’ll only play with him along, due to the fear he stokes, in everything he does.
Fear may have been a good way to bankrupt 6 companies, but it’s no way to conduct a government for the benefit of the majority of the population. This is especially true when you have the largest bully pulpit in the world and your words influence millions of faithful followers. This fear incited drives almost 100 % of the terror that we get to live with, now.
No other administration has operated this much using fear as a weapon, such as this one has, and that is to the complete detriment of his Trumpublican party which may decimate the Republican party and conservative politics, in America. Although hate to see the end of conservative politics, I’m really looking forward again to progressive politics. It’s always seemed to bring with it prosperity with less fear.
When looking back on the very worst administrations in our history, I often ponder, what could be worse than sending our country into a Civil War, akin to what Buchanan did? Then I think about bowing to a foreign power to hand them our sovereignty. Which is worse? That is a question for the ages, that only time can determine through it’s manifestation on our civilization from this point forward. Right now, that future does not look good. Worse than a Civil War? How about a nuclear war with our worst adversary, because of the insolence of a 4th-grade schoolyard bully, whose best asset is defaming people with his vile mouth, and whose base is a dwindling faction of white trash Americans, who’re mentality is stuck in the 19 century, in the days of slavery. They lack the courage to step out of their bigotry. They’re impotent, when it comes to growing, in this manner.
They’re afraid of their unknown. Because they don’t know and they are afraid, they turn to their addiction to feed their emotions. Knowing what I know now, in respects to what everybody has to eat to stay alive, I know for certain, what’s driving a good portion of this is, fear. It’s in the food, we’re forced to eat that’s all been tainted, on purpose, with glyphosate, which sets our bodies up for a host of problems. You’ll find all the details, below in the Glucose Ruse and the Glucose Ruse Blues in paperback.
YOU CAN FIND ALL THE DETAILS BELOW TO LEARN THE RUSE OF THE GLUCOSE BLUES;
I see it in all of their advertising. They are flat out afraid of justice being served if they lose any election this season. That is Russian driven thinking that democracy only works one way, their way. They are afraid of the consequences they’ll reap, from the damage they’ve sewn, with their ignorant actions. Consequences must be paid. Otherwise, they’ll do it again and again and again, until there’s no one left to oppose them. Then they’ll have their totalitarianism. Consequences must be paid. Impeachment is that consequence, for the simple act of treason, inviting Russia to attack U.S. by hacking into someone’s email server. That request was treason, pure and simple.(A rather bold one, too.)
It’s obvious to me, after 3 years of listening to this bombast, that we allowed our nation to be hornswoggled into a dire situation, risking our whole American way of life. We elected a con man to the White House. Our nation is being run by the 20th-21st century P.T. Barnum and he is profiting off of it with the sole intention of seeing how much he can get away with, before someone says, enough! Sorry, Phineas. Didn’t mean to disparage you, but you were a 19th-century seller of spectacles, and not much more. What you sold though, you sold very well. You paved the way for today’s seller of spectacles. He, though, has put you to shame, as far as grandiose spectacles go. You did nothing that can match his boat of lies, (which is something, I despise).
This White House has become nothing more than a White House for sale to the highest bidder and the Saudi’s have more of it than all of our other allies, according to this President. It’s the Saudi’s that buy up all of Trump’s properties. Why wouldn’t he love them? Why wouldn’t he defend them to his dying breath? This man has done nothing for America except to sell it.
His first sale was to Russia, His next, to North Korea, now, to Saudi Arabia. Isn’t it time we sold this bastard down the river, to never return? Haven’t we learned anything yet? He’s deathly afraid of voter fraud, yet it’s his party that commits it. Voter rejection is far more rampant in his base states, where they stand the highest risk of losing control. It’s that loss of control that he fears more than anything. The problem here is the type of control he chooses to use and that’s his bullified pulpit.
This only proves the fear that Trumpublicans have of justice due to their injustice of placing an unqualified Justice on the Supreme Court. This will haunt them for the rest of their existence. There are too many people that will make sure of that. That comes when we vote next month. We welcome the challenge of the deranged right. We know that we have the numbers and if there is voter fraud, it’s from the voter suppression that exists in all Trumpublican strongholds, or as it did, in the last election in ’16, it’ll come from the trumpublicans. admittedly. Their excuse, “we thought they would do it, so we did.”
WHO PAYS FOR HIS DAILY CAMPAIGN FLIGHTS
THAT COST TAXPAYERS A COOL $1MIL EACH FLIGHT?
WILL HIS CAMPAIGN FUND COVER THAT EXPENSE?
SHOULDN’T THE $100 MILLION THAT HE’S ACCRUED FOR HIS CAMPAIGN,
BE USED FOR HIS TRAVELLING EXPENSES?
WILL HIS TAX CUT BUDDIES COVER THAT EXPENSE?
OR WILL THE TAXPAYER, U.S. HAVE TO PAY THAT EXPENSE?
HE’S ALREADY ADDED TO ALL OF OUR EXPENSES.
HAS HIS TAX CUT TRICKLED DOWN TO YOU YET?
I’M STILL WAITING BUT NOTHING’S TRICKLED YET,
EVEN FROM 1980 WHEN THIS WAS TRIED AGAIN BACK THEN,
PRACTICALLY NOTHING TRICKLED FROM THAT ATTEMPT, THEN,
WHY SHOULD I EXPECT IT NOW? THIS IS WHEN
THIS OBSOLETE FEARMONGER
HAS EARNED MY FULL DISRESPECT AGAIN,
AS THIS BULLY BEEN FULLY PUMPED
BY VLAD THE GLAD RUSSIAN
AND HIS TOTALITARIAN DUMP.
THIS IS THE KING THAT COULDN’T BE TRUMPED,
DUE TO THE WAY IN WHICH HE’S BEEN JUMPED
BY A PUTIN STUMP
EARNING A TASTE OF MY SPUNK
SPURNED BY THE SMELL OF A SKUNK.
IT CAME TO BE IN A TIME OF STRESS
A MAN FROM A SHOW THAT TO US DID IMPRESS.
SO HIM, WE ELECTED TO OUR MOST SUPREME OFFICE OF THE LAND
TO BRING HIS FLAVOR OF LABOR TO PROVE HIS LACK OF COMMAND
TO CONDEMN OUR DEAR FUTURE TO A FAR OFF DISTANT LAND
AND THAT OF A MEDIA MOGUL WHO AGAIN, HAS TAINTED HANDS
TO PRESENT THE INSANITY OF VANITY
BEFORE OUR SECURITY MUST BE SEEN, IN ITS ENTIRETY,
AS AN AFRONT TO OUR SENSIBILITY.
YET, DUE TO OUTSIDE INFLUENCE,
WE’RE STILL BUYING THE FECULENCE.
THAT’S DRIVING OUR COMPLETE SENSE OF INNOCENCE
INTO OUR PREMATURE PHYSICAL SENESCENCE.
WHERE’S THE SENSE IN THIS?
THERE ISN’T ANY AND THAT’S WHAT’S REMISS.
IT MUST BE ALL CHANGED TO PREVENT OUR DISMISS
WE’D BETTER DISMISS THE DIS THAT WE’VE HAD TO LIVE WITH,
IN THIS TURMOIL OF CRUDE OIL THAT GREASING SOME PALMS
WHOSE CHARACTER I QUESTION AND GIVES ME ALL PAUSE
ABOUT THE MAN AT THE TOP THAT’S AT THE ROOT OF THE CAUSE
TO END THE RELATIONSHIP BEFORE IT FESTERS TO SINK THE SHIP
IT’S THE ONLY WAY TOWARD SURVIVORSHIP,
OUT OF THIS SUNKEN CRYPT,
FULL OF TRUMP BOUGHTEN SHEEP-DIP,
TO EARN MY CONTEMPT OF NEVER-ENDING DISRESPECT
FOR A BASTARD OF FEAR THAT I CONSIDER ILLITERATELY UNINTELLIGENT.
Our supreme fearful leader has just aligned himself with what could be the worst terrorist government in our society, Saudi Arabia. Not even Russia murders their citizens in such a brutal fashion, but we have a President who not only condones this behavior, it promotes it with the manner in which he communicates. He can’t hold accountable, the people responsible for it, just like he denied the judge’s complete lack of innocence. You know he was guilty. I know he was guilty. Everyone knows he was guilty except for Bart. Brett’s completely ignorant to what Bart does, not allowing him to remember, due to those drunken escapades.
This is a drunken escapade for our President, who doesn’t drink. He doesn’t have to. He’s drunk enough without drinking. And we allow this man to drive our car while we are in it. He’s taxiing U.S. to our demise, ala Putin, Kim Jung Il, Xi Jinping, and now, Mohammed bin Salman, who cuts the head off of his own citizens for writing the truth. And, he does this after he tortures, what was his media enemy. Is this the kind of President we are supposed to follow? Sorry, I can’t. I rebel against this kind of behavior. I detest it, along with every action this President has taken since he’s been in office.
What happened to the real Republican party? The party that was so conservative that they wouldn’t allow capitalism to take advantage of slavery, to get ahead. Even Teddy stopped the banks, railroads, and steel industries, from monopolizing their industries. The Republican party used to be a conservative party against all anti-conservative spending and waste, What happened to that? Has Trump turned your party into one that caters to murderers, now? Is that how you want to be remembered? That is about as appalling as you can get. I’m appalled that you don’t realize that. You embrace the divide, laying into Putin’s hand when he interfered in our election to put this man in charge. We’re giving him exactly what he wants in this division. That’s the first step to conquering. Putin knows that.
When did Trump make the affluent of the Republican party, the effluent of the unhinged Republican party? Better yet, how did he do it? Were we so willing to be duped that we allowed this con man to con us all? Or. at least, the majority of us. There was a portion of us, that have never been duped by this unreal, reality TV star. We think that the rest of America has turned as deceptive as their fearful supreme leader. That makes America one of the most dangerous places to live, with a few exceptions, in the middle east. We feel that what happened in Turkey, could soon happen here, under this President. Organized crime seems to work that way.
When did the Republican party become the party of waste? My assessment, says that when Nixon assumed the helm and corrupted the party in the early 70’s. That was when I joined the Republican party because my whole family was, and is Republican to this day. At that time, everybody was railing against the Democratic party for the war in Vietnam and the consequences, it wrought. If I’m not mistaken, it was Eisenhower that locked in our obligation to Vietnam in 1954, right after the first Indochina war.
During the first Indochina war, the French lost North Vietnam to communists forces that Eisenhower was trying to prevent when he obligated our help to Vietnam which became South Vietnam. He was in the habit of fighting communism wherever it reared its head and was very interested in helping France, after WWII. He gave the French a lot of support to try to save Vietnam from Communist rule. I’m sure this was due to what we owed them from the second world war. They lost North Vietnam though, and eventually South Vietnam when it cost us too much, financially, morally and humanely, to continue. He often supported anti-communist movements in Central America as well as Eastern Europe. It was his propensity to fight the communist “scourge”, and that got us stuck in Vietnam, yet, it was the Democrats took over the House and much of Capitol Hill in the 60’s, and ultimately, got blamed for the Vietnam war. Wasn’t it Reagan that continued this practice with a Sandinistas?
That has me wondering, is that a display of true conservatism? In my opinion, no. That’s a display of fear of communism. Nothing more. Nothing less. Which, has me wondering about today’s politics of fear and anger. Where did it originate? Is this left-over fear from the 50’s and 60’s? Or, is it newly generated, for the sake of garnering profit? This brings about too many other questions to list in this paragraph. This is going to require a list of questions as to the nature of our politics today, as compared to that of when I started growing up when I see all of our problems originating.
Why has our politics turned so fearful and hateful? Did this all start after WWII?
Is this fear due to communism alone, or is something else involved?
Who initiated the intensity that it’s at today?
When did it start to get so bad?
How, did it get so bad to allow us to fall for a con man?
How did this con man transform our entire government into his tool to enrich his pockets?
I’m going to try to answer some of the questions.
Why has our politics turned so fearful and hateful? Did this all start after WWII? To answer that you have to look at what scares you. We’ve been running scared ever since Hitler killed so many Jews. That level of fear hasn’t abated very much since the end of that war, either. Even after turning our anger against this fear and hatred for the movement in the 60’s peace movements, it seemed to work its way back into our society in the form of extreme capitalism, when we elected Reagan as President with his dislike of our whole form of government. Wasn’t it Reagan that said. it is an oxymoron to say “Hi I’m from the government, and I’m here to help”? Didn’t he try to keep the government out of personal matters? He was obviously afraid of too big of a government. Now, that fear has grown to ultra-extreme levels.
Is this fear due to communism alone, or is something else involved? Ever since the close of WWII, we’ve been fighting this communist “scourge”, until this last administration’s desire to become best buddies with Vladimir Putin, Kim Jung Il, and Xi Jinping. And now, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. I wonder which dictator will be next to join this man’s BFF, list? I salute him for his boldness and lack of fear, but I condemn him for his naiveté. Only a bonafide bully could be so easily duped, by a bigger and stronger bully. (That gives me a clue as to how debased we’ve become as a nation.)
Who initiated the intensity that it’s at today? This didn’t all start with Don Drumpf’s arrival. Its roots, go back to the civil war and the fear from after slavery, and became, what would become of all the rich white population in the south, that earn their wealth with the slavery. All of a sudden, they had to pay for their labor and that cut into profits. That’s the fear that morphed into the KKK. We all know of the fear that used to extend their power. It seems to be the nature of this segment of society to use that fear as much as they can, to bolster that fear, so they can bend their followers to their will. Unfortunately, too many of those followers are already used to following a real savior, and not this fake one, but their judgment is too clouded to see the truth.
When did it start to get so bad? This fear that’s felt today is a left-over from WWII, and the anger it’s brought with it is left-over fear has been building ever since 9/11, when another inept President, President Bush allowed us to be attacked but still picked up seats in him midterm election, simply due to that attack, that some believe, he allowed to happen. Wasn’t he reading to a kindergarten class when the attack happened?
How, did it get so bad to allow us to fall for a con-man? It didn’t. That small segment that still clung to those fears from after slavery, (how they were going to prosper), resurged with the arrival of a conman who could see that he could use that fear, hate, and animosity, to his advantage. Which he did. He did it so well, he’s now got a growing minority that choose to remain blind to reality and continue to give this behemoth credence, for the damage he’s done and continues to do. What’s more unfortunate is that to secure their fear, they need to place more of what generates it, in the Supreme Court. So, they did. Now, that the fear has been generated, who is going to experience more of it? The Trumpublicans who generated it, or the rest of America who’s ready to fight back to repel this fear. That makes me wonder what happened to the Republican party?
How did this con-man transform our entire government into his tool to enrich his pockets? Our fear was used against us. or, rather those who fell for this giant ruse. Just like Reagan, this left-over segment of the post-slavery fear fell for the fear that Don Drumpf generated. He only did this, because he could. Now he’s taking advantage even more of it because we’re allowing him to…or rather his Trumpublicans are allowing him to do so. Of course, none of this would have been possible without the help, he sought out. First, he sought help from Isreal, before he went to Russia for that help. Too bad nobody could have been notified that this was taking place at the time. It may have been tried, but it didn’t succeed. There were signs, but most people wanted to look the other way.
IS THERE NOBODY
THAT CAN SHUT
THESE ASSHOLES UP?
STARTING WITH THE
BASTARD AT THE TOP?
WILL SOMEONE BRING HIM TO MY DOOR…PLEASE?
Bastards, like this one, don’t survive my rath in my house. This one has garnered all of it. If I had a weapon, I could use on this bastard, I would. My words are my weapon. I charge this man with breaking and entering my White House and pilfering it to the ultimate extreme, all at the request of Vladimir Putin, and to pad his own bank accounts. He’s robbed me of my government and I have no idea of what he’s put in its place.
Now we have to listen to a president who is afraid of his own shadow, due to this insane fear levels. Our problem is that he imposes his fears on all of his followers, to get them to fall in line with his thinking, All this fear is being generated by his hunger cycle, which with this man, is quite large. He gets hungry a lot, making him very dangerous to work with, due to his fits of anger when he gets hungry. It’s not too hard to understand, how he gets so angry, considering how much fear he has to deal with. To understand where the fear comes from, it’s innate, It comes toll-free with an addiction that we’re all born with. But, it doesn’t stay free. The cost of this addiction starts with hunger and fear and that’s how it influences anger, so much.
I’m compelled to compare fear and anger politics to hope and grow politics, It seems to me that conservative politics are all based on fear, and too often gets expressed angrily. This is the nature of fear. It has a tendency to ignite hatred This is because the best way out of fear is to get mad and when you get mad, many time it leads to hate.
What needs to be expressed is productive anger, not destructive anger, which is the kind generated by fear. That is the only kind of anger, fear can muster, as the irrational behavior that goes along with that side of anger, comes from fear. To successfully use the rational side of anger, you must make the only reason for it, constructive to all parties. Otherwise, it becomes the destructive force, which was just demonstrated by our Trumpublican party.
