I’ve read historical articles on the Republican Party ending slavery and keeping the Union together when terrorists threatened to break-up the nation. We all remember is as the Civil War, and the terrorists were called rebels.
It’s easy to say that things were different in those times, and I’d have to agree with you, they were. There was no such thing as instant communication to disseminate false news that hasn’t been vetted but, false news got disseminated anyway. A lot of innocent people were ultimately raped, tortured and hanged, needlessly because of it. More were falsely persecuted because of it. But then, times have changed. Now, people instantly spread their views, opinions, and even threats via Twitter and Facebook now. Yeah, it is a different world. Even the guns are different.
When the Civil War started gunmakers were just introducing a pre-made cartridge for a rifle, which had just recently been invented. (Rifling is what gave Americans an edge in the Revolutionary War.) When the Civil War began, they had just designed a cartridge that a soldier could carry instead of having to muzzle load their guns to fire them. Now, the .22 caliber rifle I grew up with, can be rigged up with a bump–stock to turn it into a fully automatic rifle. Yeah, it is a different world, now.
Abraham Lincoln basically started the Republican Party before the start of the Civil War and ultimately the southern states, who all believed more in states-rights than federal jurisdiction, felt the need to revolt and secede from the Union. It seems that that’s happened recently in the past with a few states that didn’t agree with our former President and threatened to secede. I guess what their citizens wanted, though, was different and they are still a state in the Union.
By the time is turned into Teddy Roosevelt’s Republican party it stood up for those who didn’t have a loud voice in government and proved it by breaking up Trusts and Monopolies, showing that the Republican party did really care about the people. All of that seems to have changed. What happened to “compassionate Republicanism”? I can remember a time when Republicans cared about their constituents. Even when they didn’t, they could feign their care, with “compassionate Republicanism”. Things are different now.
Now they have a “me first” President, who’s proving to the world how a spoiled brat acts as President of the U.S. He’s making our country a country of spoiled brats who can’t see past their own nose when it comes to equality and justice. Their equality is bought with money and nothing else. What they’re actually doing to proving to the world how a German can do more damage that an earlier German by the name of Hitler that wasn’t even a true German. (He’s was born in Austria.) If he truly wanted to destroy the world, he could’ve learned a few things from this man.
Although, this may be the one thing that Donald Trump is remembered for; saving the Affordable Care Act with his tax cut. Now people will have the money to afford their insurance, but it is a shame that they won’t have much left for anything else. The real hurt will come when they see their Government shut down.

It’s easy for me to see just why this President acts like he does. It’s his insatiable appetite for his sugar in the form of bread in the diet of cheeseburgers that he keeps. He’s driving his Republican party to its demise. It may be fortunate to recover from his grasp.
Now that people have a resemblance of equality at least in their health insurance, most are realizing how good it is to have this benefit of the Obama era and thanks to a huge tax cut, most will be able to afford their coverage, now. I guess there is something to attribute to Trump’s era. Most of the people are much happier having medical insurance, especially those who couldn’t get it before. Now, thanks to a massive tax cut, they’ll be able to afford that insurance. Too bad it can’t be used for anything else.

This President’s actions of late have demonstrated his indebtedness to Russia.

The fake “Fake News” must learn that this president wasn’t elected by the people. He was elected by the electoral college, which has been pre-arranged to express the views of a select few on the right, all being controlled by an oligarch with a real fake news agency, who by habit create news they want to exist, whether it’s true or not. President Trump is the payback of gerrymandering that the Republicans are paying a dear price for. I really don’t think that they had any idea that this could have happened, but it did, and they have to deal with it.
As soon as they start to see the real truth, that they had elected a juvenile President, who’s never grown beyond the age of twelve, they’ll start to see the real danger he presents. We’ll get into why this is in a minute, but everyone needs to know that this mentality of juvenility, trying run a country is the one thing that links all terror in the hearts of almost all Americans. It’s his hatred of what he fears that’s driving our fears that he’s going to react to a crisis just like a 12 yr old boy would do, blab it all our to all your friends to boast of how you’re going to handle it, then have to back up those rash words because you haven’t learned how to take responsibility for what you mess up.
And that brings us to why he is like he is. HE’S NEVER HAD TO MAKE HIS BED, You can’t know how to clean up anything if you can’t clean up your own messes and this is a man who’s never made his own bed, let alone cleaned up any of his screw-ups. He’s always bought his way out of his screw-ups. But the stakes are different now, he’s bankrupting the Government to cover-up his latest screw-up, Russian involvement in an election that he just thought he won, and that’s what he’s afraid of, more than anything else, losing. That is a foreign language to the man and it’s expressed every time he does mess things up. He actually changes the outcome in his mind to where it wasn’t a screw-up. Too bad everyone else knows the truth except a dying few that still cling to the faint idea that there exists some amount of sanity in this President. If he can’t make his own bed, how’s he going to protect ours?
How can you expect someone that has never had to clean up his own refuse, to maintain a balance of ethical and reliable judgment that’s necessary to conduct oneself in the manner his Office deems necessary. I can tell you right now, from my own experience, it’s impossible, futile and completely imbecilic. It can’t be done, especially if the twelve yr old mentality belongs to a Septuagenarian, someone, stuck in their ways. Uh Oh…..
I know this because I’m afflicted with the same brain damage that the President has and it starts with his diet. (Mostly of Big Macs and Cheeseburgers, but it’s not the meat or cheese in the sandwiches that’s damaging his brain. It’s the bread.) I was raised on it, all my life, and I get to live with massive damage to my brain that was caused by the same thing plus a semi-severe bump on my head that damaged my Pre-Frontal Cortex, making me act almost exactly like this President acts, irrational. Do you really believe that his gigantic tax cut is going to benefit America more than it will benefit him? We know that this his own personal tax cut. What I don’t understand, why does he want to cut something he’s seldom paid? Is he doing this so he won’t feel as guilty evading his taxes, now? It’s no wonder why he’s on the defensive so much, with all the guilt he must be carrying for all the laws he’s skirted and all the people he’s hurt, to better his own agenda, this man has to be drowning in his guilt. That explains why everything he says and does is so aberrated. This poor man must be carrying the guilt of the world…(the last man to carry the guilt of the world, we crucified.) I personally don’t think, this man can hold a candle for that one. That’s because one sees the light. The other doesn’t.

All Republicans in the party need to re-assess the control they’ve surrendered to this man who really has absolutely no idea of how to conduct himself in government settings, to achieve anything constructive. Failure to do so will spell doom for what is known now as the Republican party and only bolster the Democratic party to take full control of the government for the subsequent 12 years. It may be for more. It was 20 years during the depression and WWII. How long will it be this time? From the recent rise of the stock market as fast and far as it’s climbed, any recession that this boom leads to is going to be massive. Maybe even more massive than the Great Depression. My parents were born right at the beginning of the Depression, in 1931. They remember how bad it was. I was brought up learning from them how bad it was. They, however, didn’t know how it got to that point to make it that bad. This is why we have history books, which the Republican party is refusing to look at right now.
Because of the negligence on their part, our whole country will be the ones to suffer massively when it all hits the fan. The only ones who won’t be affected will be the ultra-ultra-rich, which just happens to be the group the Donald Trump falls into. This forces me to ask; with this style of governing, does justice exist in our society? Does it exist anywhere? Only if you’re ultra-ultra-rich. In our society money buys justice. Those without $$, have to live without justice. This forces them to find their own justice. NOW, DO YOU KNOW WHY VIOLENCE EXISTS? It’s a fight or flight response. When there’s no place to run, you fight. When you combine that with all the fear and anger being promoted by our President, it’s a recipe for disaster, which seems to be happening. Who usually comes out of disasters unscathed? The ultra-rich who live in ivory towers.

Don’t be conned by the supreme con artist. You know this is BS. They know this is BS, too, yet they have to insist on this tax bill just to have something to hang their hats on as an accomplishment. They have to. This is a, do-nothing-congress thanks to the President. His style of governance leaves too much to be desired…very, very, very too much.
A tax cut to increase the economy? C-MON MAN…You’ve got to be kidding me, again. wasn’t this attempted before in the 80’s? How did that work out? What happened in the late Eighties? Didn’t our country experience a massive recession similar to the Great Depression? Didn’t more financial freedoms lead to another recession in the early 21st century? How did tax plan work out? didn’t a Democratic President pull us out of each of those recessions? This is a once in a generation tax cut that will decimate the middle and lower classes, where the bulk of voters reside.
How many time does this have to take place to prove it doesn’t work? The party attempted this ploy in the 20’s, the 80’s and even into the 90’s and neither time did it work. We went through 2 major recessions and a full-blown depression with attempts similar to this. Haven’t we learned yet? What does it take to teach us that this doesn’t work to improve the economy for more than a few years?
You know this won’t work. You’ve tried it before with disastrous results and yet because of corporate feculence, you have to try it again, proving the existence of your feculence. We get to witness feculence in action, again for the third time in the last century. How many times do you need to go through this to realize that it doesn’t work? It the true driver of demise.
This is an unconscionable action to be taking just for the growth of America. If you’re serious about America’s economy, stick to your promises and don’t increase our deficit. Take that trillion dollar debt you stick to the lower classes and give it back to them to spend. That, more than any other one thing, will increase our economy. The people you give the money to will spend it. Your manner of giving back this money gives it all to those who already have it. Where’s the justice in that? They don’t need to spend anything so they’ll tuck it away and save it for their rainy day. Our problem is that our rainy day is already here. Now, you want to make it worse. And you really think this is going to help your party? You need to think again.
What would happen if you dumped that trillion dollars back into the economy, in the form of dollars to Americans instead of phony tax cuts that go only to the wealthy? What kind of an effect do you think that would have. What better increase for our economy could you have than to give the money back to the people who can actually increase our economy and put more people back to work? This is the DUH in this equation. Unfortunately, it’s the DUH that they’re not looking at. They’re looking at this problem from a corporate standpoint and the corporate view is a deadly view for the consumer. It’s just like the glucose ruse, the deadliest ruse to ever be perpetrated on the American people. This one could be costlier in the long run, which will drive the majority of voters into the depths of poverty quicker than any ruse we’ve been subjected to. And we’ve been subjected to many of these ruses before but we always had the government looking out for us. If this happens, we won’t even have that in the future, if we have it now.
If corporate America doesn’t control everything right now, this will certainly give them the power to. Is that what America really needs? Think about that for just a minute. Where is most, money invested? (hint,hint) Where you get returns. Investments don’t bring returns until people buy your product. Without people to buy the product, you’re not going to get that return on your investment that you could get elsewhere, where your product can be bought. But, without the money to buy in the hands of the people who can buy, you generate little more than stagnation because the money flow will flow to where there’s a better return. DUH!
This spells out why to give the money to where it’s going to do the most good and not where it’s going to get invested in who knows what. To do that is the definition of insanity and that leads us back to our undeserving, unnerving President, who insists on being the disrupter that he’s always been throughout his whole life.
Here again, were being duped to another ruse, just like the Republican party has done, several times, to us in the past. We don’t need this ruse or to be duped anymore by this party. This is ignorance, defined. I sincerely hope that you could realize that.
